This lot is perfect for those that want to play 4 different familys using mods or for using with roomates. Each apartment is self contained and decorated to suit the families the request was for.
The Brownstones were sought after by a developer and they managed to get 3 of the 4 but the old lady just wouldn't budge! So as a result 3 of the apartments have been renovated with a modern look and 1 is left untouched and dated.
There are 42 rooms in this build so if your computer is not great this lot will run laggy :(

Very Beautiful dear Kem!! I'm going to grab it up next time I'm in Sims 3 Playing!! Your work is stunning dear to say the least!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Bree :)
DeleteI wanted to ask you for 2 lots.. Please do a wedding place or a lucky palms house! please
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately my computer is slowly dying João :(
DeleteI could possibly manage something small and not very detailed but anything large my computer just cant handle at the moment.
This is awesome..question.. do i have to use a cheat to remove those silver balls to be able to play 4 different families..? or are all of these apts playable.. i don't use mods which is why i am asking... and second,. where is this lot located?
ReplyDeleteThank you Miss Lynette :)
DeleteThere are none of the silver balls in this lot, all units are playable. The requester is using a mod to play with different families in the one build so this lot was made accordingly.
It could easily be turned into a Late Night apartment type lot if you wanted. If that is what you are after I may be able to get into the lot again ( I was getting a lot of lag with it at the end, my computer is dying) and empty 3 of the units leaving one to play and making the other 3 NPC units. You would just have to let me know which one you wanted to keep decorated.
This lot is located in Moonlight Falls at 149 Horseshoe Bend. You will have to change the small park that is there already to a residential lot :)
Thank you very much! I really love the exterior especially. <3
ReplyDeleteThank you Buckley :)
DeleteI love this!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kimberly :)
DeleteI am just finding your website now. Amazing houses and a for sure download next time I am playing! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI hope you enjoy the apartments!
Hi, i love your work. Could you empty 3 of the units leaving one to play and making the other 3 NPC units? If I go to buydebug on my computer it won't save the game later on. Thank you
ReplyDeleteSorry I am so late getting back to you, I have been away from Sims due to personal reasons.
DeleteI did go ahead and make 3 of these into NPC apartments for you. I had to do a little room inside each apartment and then stick the NPC door inside. Thats the only way I could make it work unfortunately.
You can get the NPC version here: http://www.simfileshare.net/filedetails/57456/
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI just love this lot and didn't take long for me to download it once I got back into playing Sims 3. I do have a question though. It's a 40x40 lot and I wonder in what world/road you built it.
Thank you for your lovely and hard work.
//David
Thank you David :)

Hello! I LOVE this lot...Can you explain to me how you get the NPC doors to work? I have gone through SOO many tutorials and can not get them to work. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAs for the NPC doors...hmm let me think. You need to make sure you are using the silver spheres from the debug menu. There are 2 you will need, one is called Hidden Room Marker and the other is the Public Room Marker.
DeleteYou want to place the Hidden Room Marker in all the homes that are going to be NPC homes, and then you use the Public Room Marker for the Public areas. Now here comes the tricky bit. A NPC door can not be on the street, so it needs to be enclosed in a room or a fenced off area with a gate.
So if you are making Brownstones like I have firstly I would recommend making the ones you are not using just shells, no walls inside just one big room.
You will then need to make a room behind the front door in each of the ones that you want to be NPC homes with another door to get into the rest of the shell, make sure the room is big enough for 2 sims to interact freely in.
Place the Public Room Marker inside the small room, then place the Hidden Room Marker inside the shell.
If all is placed correctly you should be able to CTRL+SHIFT+Click on the door to the shell and there will be a option to make as a NPC door. You may need to have the testingCheatsEnabled true cheat on as well, I cant remember to be honest.
You will also want to add Hidden Room Markers to all the levels of the NPC homes and it is very handy to add them to any other rooms, be they yards, flower boxes or interior areas that are not actually used, like a 1x1 room that is acting as a column or such. Doing this will make anything that is inside that area free, windows, wall treatments, flowers, furniture you name it.
