TS3 - Japanese Home.


So I had a whack at making a Japanese house. Its not very authentic seeing as I only used base game items again...lol But it works! There are no windows and only a front door, the walls are painted to look like those rice paper sliding screens. No CC or Expansions used, and the only store content is some of the free items.

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom
Study, Zen Room 
Fully Furnished and Landscaped
Built on 40x30 Lot
Price $156.264

    This house is beautiful, but I'm having trouble installing it, I think it's because of the furnishings. (You mentioned you used store content, and I think that's what's giving me trouble) Would it be possible to have an unfurnished lot as well? You can leave the landscaping though as it's so pretty. :) Thank you.

    The store content I used is all free content. I can give you the link on the Sims site if you want so you can see what it is, or if you want I will make an unfurnished version for you. I am in the middle of CC hell though and I'm re merging all my stuff so it might be a few days :(

    This is very impressive! No CC and still managing to make such an amazing house! Can't wait to put my geisha in it! And even make a samurai for her! I'm so excited! Thank you so much for sharing this beauty with us.

    What wallpaper did you use for the rice-paper effect walls? I think it's a tile, but I can't seem to get it right.
    Love the house, it's so beautiful :)

    It is a paneled wall, then I recolored the edges with a dark wood and the middle with the tile pattern. All base game. Hope that helps.
