  2. Holy crap!!!! WOW! This is FANTASTIC!!!! You have used objects in such a cool and inspiring way, and the whole lot is just fabulous! I can't wait to get my hands on this house! I hope you can get it uploaded soon. ...otherwise, you'd just be a big tease. ;-P

  3. Since the exchange is giving you issues, can you upload the Sims3Pack to maybe Mediafire and it can be downloaded that way? This is an extremely awesome build, and I would LOVE to have it in game!

    1. Its not the exchange giving me problems its the actual lot :( I cant export it or save it to the bin. It just keeps processing.

  4. I hope this works soon, can't wait to download! Amazing work :)

  5. This is truly an extraordinary lot. I have not had this issue you are having. With just a quick idea, maybe you can upload your saved file (If the rest of your town has no cc). We would be able to access the house that way. Maybe we can find a way to get the house to save to the bin.(Though I have seen some heavily decorated homes take 10 mins to place in my town. This is not unheard of to have the process bar spin for 10mins before the house finally places)

    1. I was thinking about that myself. But would that actually work? I have never tried to share a save game before. Will the house really be there even if you have not downloaded the "actual" house to put in your game?

I didn't touch the rest of the world. (I think lol) But there is definitely no CC in it.

    1. I am still working on getting this lot up for download. I wont be able to share it like it is though it just wont save with all this stuff in it lol

  8. Yes. The lot will be there if you built it and saved it in the world. Anything you built will be there. If you have cc it may or may not come with the world. I have upload save game files to mediafire and any cc I had in my game is replaced with EA basegame items unless the player downloading it already had it installed. You'll need be sure to upload all files in the saved game file. Just google it on how to do it. I have not done it in a while and don't wanna tell you wrong. But since the home is built in Sunset Valley every player should be able to access your saved game and therefore access your house :-) I hope this helps.

    1. Awesome, well I will go through and "preen" it a bit and see if I can et it to work with less items in it. And I will offfer the new version and the old version in the save for people.

    2. This is exciting news! I think I own about 95% of the store now. LOL I will totally be playing the one that you have shown us. I hope all goes well with the uploading. If I remember correctly it wasn't too hard to do. I keep working on my little house in Bridgeport while I stalk your page today (continuously hitting the refresh button hoping to see a download link) LOL. (waves) Good luck!

    3. Well I got it to export! I am about to try and upload it, BUT I had to remove ALL the store content :( I swear I was in tears as I was taking stuff out.

It still looks very similar still, the major differences are that there are no glass houses :( And the sauna room is empty and the massage room looks a bit silly now. I will make a new post when I have some links and I will package up my save of the original version and offer that for download too.

    1. Yup with all that crap in it LOL

I want to thank you so very much, If it wasn't for you I wouldn't of checked the rest of my town and that is where I found the problem, There was another lot in it I had done and when I went to delete it my game got stuck processing again. Turns out there were two coffee cups in it that wouldn't delete.
Got them out, deleted the lot and the mansion worked. Who wouldn't of thought that would cause the issue lol

      Delete
  12. Wow, that's good that you have such a good eye to have even seen the coffee cups. I am so happy that things worked out ok for you. I am sure it was very upsetting to think that you could not share the lot after so much time went into it. Great job btw. I am turning down my setting a bit to see if I can have less lag in this home. No way am I sacrificial anything in this manor :-) I LOVE IT! signed, Cyberqueen13 aka CQ (waves)

  13. Hi Kementari, no, I did not have any trouble downloading or installing the home into my town. I placed it in SV where it was originally built and it took about 9mins to place in town. Wonderful job! I totally love love love this home. Thank you so much for sharing. You are so so very clever with how you use all the items in the game. I may change out the savvy seller shelves later, after a while its annoying to have my sims being drawn to them all day. Ps. I love the bird :-) Thanks again. (Hugs) CQ.

    1. Oh yay!

lol, those shelves! I was getting so annoyed while play testing with them.

I have a mod from Nraas called DebugEnabler http://nraas.wikispaces.com/DebugEnabler If you click on them you can actually disable the interactions with them. I did use it on the ones in the home but I guess it doesn't transfer with the lot, good to know :)

    2. I have that mod. Didn't know it could do that. I will totally go use it now :-) Thanks again. CQ

    3. Yeah its an awesome mod I use it all the time!

  14. I played in the house for a long time today. I moved a newly married couple to Dragon Valley and with the house turned just right it makes the fishing pond that has the fountain in DV look like its also their property. To have a wedding in the back yard with that as the backdrop will be simply beautiful. After I let all the color fill-in on all the objects in the house the house runs smoothly. I did switch the Savvy Seller shelves for regular long shelves and just colored them the same and placed all the items in the exact same places. This house is a dream. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. :-) Hugs. CQ

    1. Oh I would LOVE to see pics of the wedding!

I am soooo glad that the house is running smoothly for you. I was worried it would be a bit laggy. Yes it took over 20 mins for my computer to render all the objects in the lot lol crazy stuff.

  15. I am in love!!!! do you have a complete list of store items used for this house?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I haven't actually made a complete list for this one, there is sooo much store content I was a bit overwhelmed with it lol.

I will eventually get one together though. I normally take the whole build apart and make the list as I go so it will take me a while to do it.

  20. Hello there!

First of all let me thank you for this wonderful house for my Sims! I've been playing with if for some time and it's absolutely gorgeous! Awesome, awesome work you did! However, I come here with a question. I am adding an extra floor to the garage, for my witch Sims to have their own witch lair of sorts and I can't, for the love of grated cheese, clone the outside wallpaper you've used :( Nor can I find it in the catalogue. Where can I find the wallpaper set? I'd be very thankful if you'd reply. Have a wonderful day! :) ~Lach

The walls I used for the exterior are from the Monte Vista world I believe, you can see them here

  22. Hey, it's me again. Your mansion is working wonderfully and looking fab doing it. I've managed to change the walls and finish my witch lair, but I'm afraid I have another issue. I've managed to disable all the interactions on the Savvy Seller Shelves you used (in the basement entertainment room and bedrooms) but there is ONE (I assume it's one) my Sims keep using the Browse action and I can't see where it is! Do you have any idea where it might be? Many thanks in advance! Have a great day :) ~Lach
